Man oh man! What a couple of weeks I've had. I did my annual writer girl trip to Apsen, Colorado but this year it was later than usual and having me running around like a chicken with my head cut off since I've been back.
If that's not a great view to be inspired and write some words too.....I can say it's a different view than the she shed!
I have to confess....I get a bit of anxiety when I'm gone from home without Eddy and I had a bit of panic when I was all the way away from Kentucky. It ended up all good and I ended up getting a bunch of words on the page, but I was sooooo glad to get home and to....
ROWENA AND EDDY!
Of course Eddy knows it's hard for me to be away from home and he had surprised me with sweet a few encouraging notes and cards while I was gone.
Seriously! How blessed am I???
I also missed THREE of Jack's games....which I really try not to miss any! For those of you not sure what I'm talking about, my son Jacks is a student coach for the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team. We have season tickets to watch Jack on the bench. My heart soars seeing him enjoying his career and how happy it makes him, though I can see the stress it has too. Still...with the power of internet and ESPN, I was able to watch from the other side of my computer.
Anyways....back to work and home! Which I LOVE!!! I found out how much I adore my job. I'm so happy to be creating characters and fun mysteries to y'all!

"OMG - I just have to say a thousand times, THANK YOU! I so love Tonya Kappes books. When reading them, it is like sitting around and/or doing other things with friends. The characters become my friends. Yeah, yeah, I know . . .it makes me sound crazy. But at 73, I am not inclined to care a hoot about what anyone thinks of me. I LOVE, love, love them."
